The project will soon be commencing to improve the catering facilities at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
Following the passing of lifelong Evesham United supporter, Gordon Cother, the Club held a very respectful one minutes silence and a plaque was given in his honour. The Foundation would like to thank his daughter, Jane White, for her kind comments –
‘On behalf of my family, I’d like to personally thank you for everything you have done to create a memorial for our dad, Gordon Cother. We very much enjoyed yesterday evening, and I know Dad would have loved every moment, especially with so many family members in attendance … The minute’s silence was very poignant, not a whisper in the crowd, very respectful… just wonderful. Also, thank you for arranging the plaque; I would love to come up and see it in situ one day ‘..
Jane and the family donated a significant sum to the Foundation, which will be used for the further development of the Little Robins football initiative for girls aged 2-5 as they begin their football journey.
